Painting Commission- 'Still Life with Beans'

My first painting commission for a private client. The process took about one month and included initial mood boarding and rough compositional sketches on a theme chosen by the client specifically.

The client wanted a painting for her parents to celebrate their 50th Wedding Aniversary on the theme of allotment beans as her parents call each other broad bean and runner bean. :)

The finalised composition was handpainted with gouache on Hahnemühle Aquarelle paper and professionally window mounted.
